Bring Traditional Arts Indiana’s Creative Aging Summit to Your Community
Would you like to recognize and support the creative practices of elders and to explore the ways that the folk arts can improve the quality of life for older adults?
Traditional Arts Indiana partners with community-service and arts organizations around the state to produces informative, fun, and engaging programs for older adults and their communities.
These events consist of older adults sharing their creative practices in a “show-and-tell” format. These practices include, but are not limited to, quiltmaking and sewing, cooking and canning, woodturning and carving, and storytelling.
If you work with a community-service organization or arts institution, please contact Traditional Arts Indiana about how to bring this workshop to your community. Creative Aging Summits are offered free of charge to nonprofits.
